Today was Day Two of the Blowtorch Diet and I will say, it was better than yesterday. I felt full and satisfied all day - ya know...even though it's...boring! Here's what I had today -
Breakfast: I could have Coffee or Tea anyway I'd like it. So today I went to starbuck and got a Grande non-fat Chai Tea (6 pumps Chai) 1 pump pumpkin and Extra Ice (so that there would be less milk) 1 Hardboiled Egg and an Apple (had the choice between a medium fruit or a peice of Multi-grain toast with a wee bit of butter - I went for the fruit for some reason!)
Mid Morning Snack: 1 Oz. Almonds and Blackberries (Never had them before...So delicious!) 1 Cup cold green tea
Lunch: (it's a weird one) 1 can of green beans with 2 tbsp. of EVOO, S&P. 1 Apple and 1 oz. of cheddar Cheese. 12 oz. Sparkling Water
Mid Afternoon Snack: 1 Oz. Peanuts & 3 Dried Plums
Dinner: 1/2 Can of Chickpeas, 2 Cups of Chopped Tomatos and Carrots w/ 3 tbsp. Lite Balsamic Vinegar, 1 Tbsp. Evoo, S&P, a little garlic powder & Cayenne. 12 oz. Sparkling Water
I ate dinner 2 1/2 hours ago and I'm still full... I really didn't think that would happen after that dinner I had but it was actually quite large!!
I really feel that as the week progresses I'm going to start missing the Meat... I'm a red meat kinda gal. I could NEVER survive being a vegetarian. I'm shockingly not craving anything right now except...a little flavor??? (which is why I added the Cayenne to dinner!)
Atleast I get to have some Salmon tomorrow!!
