Chris Thompson is a blogger located in California who Vlogs about all types of things whether it be funny or serious. Tonight my sister posted this video link to her timeline and made a statement:
"Never allow someone to tell you that being gay is a choice. I dated guys.... But something never seemed right. I am whole when I am with my girlfriend. It's right. Why would anyone chose a life where they are the subject of constant hate and torment? Love is love is love. Remember that."
Those words made me click on the video and once it's started, granted only 6 minutes long I couldn't turn it off. I could not have said anything better than Chris has said and I could do nothing less than to pass this video along out in the world for all to see. Whether you are anti-gay or pro-gay (I don't even feel right saying that) you should still watch this video and think about the thoughts that go through your head.
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion and I completely understand that but think about the people around you. Leave the hate in your head you don't need to spread it out into the entire world. If you're sitting at a bar and talking about how you "hate" gays remember the person next to you might be gay, or might know someone, or several people (like myself) who are gay. You don't know what they've gone through. Just leave them be & let love take its course...whatever path it chooses for each individual.
If I could meet Chris Thompson I would give this one hell of a dude a high five and even a hug. Thank you Chris THompson for putting this unbelievably moving video out there.
