Yesterday was Day One of the Blowtorch Diet - Not a very satisfying one at that!
For Breakfast: Kashi Go Lean Cereal (One serving) with a 1/2 cup of Skim Milk
MId Morning Snack: Cup of Strawberries & 1 oz. Peanuts
Lunch: One Can of Peas w/ S&P, 2 tbsps. of EVOO, and 1 Apple w/ 12 oz. Sparkling water
Mid Afternoon Snack: 3 Dried Plums & Part Skim Mozzarella Stick
Dinner: 3 cups chopped Lettuce, 1/2 Can of Chick peas w/ 1 tbsp. Olive Oil and 3 tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
Sounds Exciting right? NO, no it was not. I think the only thing I was happy to eat that day was the string cheese!! I mean…who doesn't love those? The good thing was that I was able to eat throughout the day and not be hungry. But, was constantly craving the next meal or snack because I didn't feel satisfied with what I had just had at that moment. The most filling of all meals/snacks on Day one was believe it or not that Salad I had for dinner. I didn't want anything after that and had no sweet craving before bed. Thank goodness because I was actually afraid of that happening!!
Today Is day two.. lets hope it's a little easier..except those tomatoes I have to have with dinner tonight…
I hate tomatoes!!
