My question is:
Is it rude if you ask them to cover it up?
Do you buy them the makeup to do it?
How do you bring it up the issue to them?
Of course you don’t want to come off like a Bridezilla because after all, these are your best friends. But does that mean you bite your tongue on the one day that is supposed to be all about you?
SO WHAT DO YOU DO? My suggestions: After you ask your selected friends to be apart of your bridal party(assuming they all say yes), go out to individual lunches(or just hangout) with the tattooed beauties. Very politely ask them if they would be willing to cover up their body art for the ceremony and pictures. If they throw their drink in your face then maybe they aren’t as good as a friend as you thought they were. But if you took the time to carefully select the girls in your bridal party (your true friends) than I truly believe it shouldn’t be an issue. After all, It’s YOUR day! And if they love and respect you as much as they say they do, then they will have no problem with your tiny request.
I would even go a step further as to purchasing the makeup for them! They already made a HUGE commitment by saying yes to being apart of the bridal party, you don’t want to add the stress of finding the perfect makeup to cover up the tattoo that YOU asked them to.
Suggestions:
DERMABLEND makes an AMAZING concealer specifically for tattoos! Take a look at this fashion model, below, Rick Genest who really put Dermablend’s concealers to the test in their “Go Beyond The Cover” campaign.
